Okay, I know its still summer, and the holidays seem really far off, but right now is the perfect time to schedule your family photos! For all the early birds out there who book their family sessions before the end of August (you do not have to actually have the session done, just booked :-) will get a free custom holiday card designed by me! These aren't cookie cutter templates either. I will customize your entire card for you, from the pictures to a personal message. Now, what are you waiting for??

This weekend I got to do my favorite thing in the world... spend time with my beautiful nieces! I haven't seen Katie or Christina for a year and they have gotten bigger but are just as sweet as I remember. Here is a sneak peak of the photos from the weekend. I made my 10 year old niece Katie be my model, and she was great at it! Aren't those blue eyes stunning?

When Sue tole me that her son's daycare workers called her little boy the happies child they have ever had, I have to admit, I was pretty excited. As you can imagine, 1 year olds are hard to photograph, but knowting that getting a smile out of little Jacob wouldn't be a problem put my mind at ease. Here are some of my favorite shots from our session. The connection between mother and son was so beautiful, and you could just see the joy that Jacob has brought into his parents life. Thank you guys for inviting me into your home!!

This past weekend I had the privlage of documenting the a beautiful wedding with a fantastic photographer and friend AnneMarie. The wedding was simple and beautiful, and you could just feel the deep love that the bride and groom had for each other. The bride was married at St. James Catholic Church (the same church that her parents were married) and wore her mothers wedding dress which was absolutely georgous. After the wedding we took photos at the beautiful Franciscan Monastery in Washington DC. Here are just a few of my favorites in Black and White...
